Overview

The 2025 Sparkasse 3-Länder-Marathon brought several thousand runners from over 60 nations to Lake Constance. The start was, as usual, on the harbor promenade of Lindau island, and the finish was in the Bregenz Casino Stadium. The route led through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, including a border crossing in St. Margrethen.

2025 Season in Review

In 2025, the 3-Länder-Marathon again connected Lindau, St. Margrethen, and Bregenz with the classic distances of marathon, half marathon, quarter marathon, Nordic Walking, and marathon relay. The route has largely followed the same course for years – ultra-flat along the shores of Lake Constance – and is one of the largest running events in the Lake Constance region.

The accompanying Sport-Aktiv Expo on marathon weekend, as always, catered to runners, coaches, and running-enthusiast families. The organizer is SEG Sport Event GmbH from Hohenems.
