Overview
The 2025 edition of the Spandauer Liedertag took place as usual on the open-air stage at the Citadel. Several Spandau choirs performed consecutively, and the weather cooperated. The Liedertag once again proved to be an annual highlight for Spandau's choral scene and the kickoff for the Citadel's "Umsonst & Draußen" series.
The 2025 edition featured a comparatively broad program: in addition to the classic repertoire, three younger pop choirs took the stage with contemporary material. The concept of the free morning format was well-received, with the audience ranging from families with small children to connoisseurs of Spandau's choral scene.
The later concert version on the evening of June 26, 2025, complemented the format with classical concert performances by selected choirs.
