Overview
In 2025, the Spalt Christmas Market once again transformed the medieval old town of Spalt into an atmospheric Advent gathering on the first Advent weekend. Over 140 stalls in alleys, vaulted cellars, and courtyards, featuring arts and crafts, a visit from St. Nicholas, the Heavenly Messenger, and the Spalter Kripperla, made the market one of Franconia's most beautiful.
The 2025 Spalt Christmas Market continued the tradition of the atmospheric Advent market in the historic old town. Over 140 stalls were spread across the narrow alleys, vaulted cellars, and courtyards of Spalt.
As every year, arts and crafts, regional specialties, the visit of St. Nicholas, the appearance of the Heavenly Messenger, and the Spalter Kripperla in St. Emmeram characterized the market. A free shuttle bus brought visitors to the festively lit old town.
