Späth'sches Traditionsfest with Green Market

The 2025 edition marked the 305th birthday of Späth'sche Baumschulen. The festival ran in the now-established structure: two days of Green Market, dahlia show, pumpkin exhibition, carriage rides across the historic grounds, fairy tales from Monbijou Theater by the carp pond, archery, and craft activities in the "House of Trees" for children.

On stage, Theo Theodor, as the rhyming Christoph Späth, shared anecdotes from over three centuries of Berlin horticulture, in the historic warehouse pomologists identified apple varieties brought by visitors, and in the field lab, Späth employees explained research projects on the climate resilience of old fruit varieties.
