Overview

Sound.Fest.Tölz. 2025 took place in Bad Tölz town centre as a modern music festival featuring pop, indie, singer-songwriter, and electronic live acts. Marktstraße and the historic squares formed the festival stages. Bad Tölz thus positions itself, alongside its spa and bathing tradition, as a summer concert venue for younger audiences from Munich and the region.

In 2025, the town of Bad Tölz again used Sound.Fest. as a means to expand its traditional identity as a spa town with a modern music culture. Marktstraße, as the listed main axis with its painted burgher houses and the Isar bridge, formed a spectacular festival mile.

The mix of established acts from the South German music scene and young newcomers proved to be the festival's conceptual hallmark. With its proximity to Munich (40 minutes) and direct train connections, the event attracted a mixed audience in 2025, comprising town residents, day-trippers, and Munich festival-goers – a successful formula that will continue in 2026.
