Overview

In 2025, the Soulfestival Alexanderplatz once again filled the air with Soul, Funk, and R&B for eleven days in the shadow of Berlin's TV Tower. Live bands like the One Voice Gospel Choir, the Berlin Blues Band, Josiah Bruce, Tiffany Kemp, and Black Tie Entertainment shared the stage with Berlin local heroes and international soul voices. Free entry, daily program from 11 AM to 10 PM, complemented by street food stalls and the accompanying exhibition on the history of Soul. The format once again established itself as one of Berlin's most accessible open-air events.

The 2025 edition once again drew tens of thousands of visitors of all generations to Alexanderplatz — tourists, commuters, and regular Berliners. The musical concept remained true to itself: Soul classics alongside current Funk acts, Berlin Gospel choirs next to international cover bands, a stage right in the heart of the capital. With this edition, Hauptstadtkultur GmbH reaffirmed its commitment to creating a free, accessible urban festival that operates without admission fees and showcases the city's cultural diversity.
