Overview

The 3rd Sonnenrot Tribute Festival took place from July 25th to 27th, 2025, in Kirchheim unter Teck. As every year, the family-friendly festival with pop and rock tribute bands attracted thousands of visitors from the Esslingen, Stuttgart, and Swabian Jura regions. Camping, chill-out, and food trucks were again part of the concept.

3rd Sonnenrot Tribute Festival 2025

The 3rd edition of the Sonnenrot Tribute Festival took place from July 25th to 27th, 2025, in Kirchheim unter Teck. Over three days, tribute bands presented their homages to international pop and rock stars to an enthusiastic audience.

The family-friendly pricing structure (day ticket €8–10, 3-day pass €18, under 14s free) once again made the festival one of the most accessible summer events in Swabia. The chill-out area with loungers and the regional food trucks were particularly praised — they created a relaxed festival atmosphere far from the mainstream mega-festivals.
