Edition 2025 — Sonnborner Trödelmarkt
The 49th edition of the Sonnborner Trödel- und Klöngelsmarkt in May 2025 once again attracted thousands of collectors and bargain hunters under Wuppertal's Schwebebahn. Around 100 stalls lined Sonnborner Straße and Remigiusstraße — books, records, furniture, household items, toys, and quirky individual pieces changed hands. The market was once again organized by the Working Group of Sonnborner Associations.
In May 2025, Sonnborn celebrated its traditional flea market mile. With pleasant spring weather, thousands flocked to the district — the AGSV once again drew a positive conclusion. The market thus remained a firm pillar in Wuppertal's event calendar.
Regular visitors from Wuppertal mingled with day-trippers from the Bergisches Land, Düsseldorf, and Cologne. The mix of genuine Bergisch-Lower Rhenish market atmosphere, the backdrop of the Schwebebahn, and an atmosphere of "Klöngeln" creates its special charm.
