Sống ở Berlin – Festival for Vietnamese-German Pop Culture — Edition 2025

The second edition of Sống ở Berlin in summer 2025 continued the concept of the premiere and further sharpened its artistic profile. The festival once again featured the open-air stage and the DX Venue at the Dong Xuan Center, bringing together musicians, comedians, filmmakers, and authors from the Vietnamese-German diaspora on a common stage.

As in the first edition, the focus was on concerts ranging from indie, R&B, and electronic music, gala shows with dinner, talks in the Tracks & Talk format in collaboration with tip Magazin, as well as film screenings and an exhibition on the history of Vietnamese contract workers in the GDR. Guided tours through the center made the history of the location tangible.

Sống ở Berlin was again organized in 2025 by Büro doering and funded by the Hauptstadtkulturfonds, the Musicboard Berlin, and the Kulturfonds Lichtenberg. The festival thus definitively established itself as a permanent fixture in Berlin's festival summer.
