Overview

Sommersound VS 2025 took place in early August 2025 at Druckzentrum Südwest in Villingen-Schwenningen. Several live concerts by well-known artists graced the open-air stage, solidifying the format as a fixture in the concert scene of the Schwarzwald-Baar district.

The 2025 edition continued the concept of the three-day open-air festival with diverse genres. Organizers Schwarzwälder Bote Media and KAROevents once again used Druckzentrum Südwest as the venue — a location characterized by good transport links (B 523) and ample space for the stage and audience.

The mix of Pop, Classic Rock, and Schlager over three consecutive evenings has established itself as a successful format. The festival strategy deliberately appeals to different generations, utilizing the printing center as the summer concert arena for southern Baden-Württemberg.
