Edition 2025 — Sommernachtsfest Mainparksee
The 49th Sommernachtsfest at Mainparksee took place on July 5 and 6, 2025. The organizer, BRK Wasserwacht Mainparksee local group, offered its usual Steckerlfisch, coffee and cake, live music, and the traditional torch swimming by the youth group. As every year, the festival attracted families and guests from the Bavarian Untermain region.
The 2025 edition confirmed the firm place of the Sommernachtsfest in the Lower Franconian summer calendar. The Wasserwacht volunteers prepared Steckerlfisch and cakes for the approximately one thousand visitors, and the torch swimming delighted the audience on the shore on Saturday evening, as always.
The 2025 edition paved the way for the 50th anniversary in 2026.
