Edition 2025 — Sommernacht der Musik

The Sommernacht der Musik 2025 took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, on the Bärenwiese Ludwigsburg. The open-air picnic concert by the Music Association with its clubs and orchestra was, as every year, a picnic meeting point for hundreds of Ludwigsburg families.

Rehearsal for the Anniversary

The 2025 Sommernacht served, in a way, as a dress rehearsal for the 60th-anniversary celebration in 2026. With a smaller program than for the anniversary, but with the proven picnic concept opposite the Blühendes Barock, numerous music associations once again gathered for a joint open-air concert. The Bärenwiese filled up in the afternoon, picnic blankets spread across the entire park meadow, and during the concert starting at 7 PM, hundreds listened relaxed to the sounds of the associations.

Preparation for the 60th Anniversary Celebration in 2026

The organizational experience from 2025 flowed directly into the planning of the 60th-anniversary celebration in 2026 — an expanded program with three clearly defined blocks, over 200 musicians, and a grand finale with the audience as a sing-along choir. The 60th-anniversary celebration will follow on July 18, 2026.
