Overview

The Sommerkirmes Ladbergen 2025 took place as usual on the third weekend of August on the Kirchplatz and Alte Schulstraße. Three days of festivities with a classic Münsterland funfair — carousels, dodgems, marquee, live band, barrel tapping by the mayor, and children's balloon race. The Sunday opening hours for shops from 2 PM to 6 PM combined the funfair with a stroll through the town center.

In 2025, Ladbergen once again upheld its over 280-year-old summer funfair tradition. The mayor performed the traditional barrel tapping, the live band played in the marquee on Saturday evening, and the Kirchplatz setting was filled for three days with carousels, dodgems, food stalls, and marquee atmosphere. The children's balloon race on Sunday delighted the younger visitors, and the Sunday opening hours for shops brought additional foot traffic to Ladbergen's retail sector. Classic, local, a must-attend event on the Münsterland summer calendar.
