Village Summer on the Edge of the Westhavelland
With around 1,000 inhabitants, Stechow-Ferchesar is one of the smaller communities in the Landkreis Havelland district. Its geographical peculiarity: it lies in the middle of the Westhavelland Nature Park and the Westhavelland Star Park, designated in 2014, the first certified star park in Germany. By car: A10 Berliner Ring, exit Friesack, then B5 towards Rathenow, continue via country roads to Stechow-Ferchesar (approx. 1:15 h from Berlin). By train: RE2 to Rathenow or Wustermark, then bus or taxi.
