Review of the 2025 Summer Festival

The 2025 edition of the Sommerfest am Sehlendorfer Strand took place on Sunday, September 14. From 2:00 PM, the beach meadow in front of the Tourist Information filled up with locals from Blekendorf and neighboring towns, as well as holidaymakers from Hohwacht Bay. Live music on the beach stage, culinary stands from local clubs, and the children's program created a relaxed late-summer atmosphere.

The traditional 'Bunter Abend' (variety show) starting at 7:00 PM gathered the audience in front of the stage — with a program of live music, club performances, and dancing. The festival ended precisely at 9:30 PM, with a late sunset over the Baltic Sea — a successful conclusion to the beach season in Hohwacht Bay.
