Overview

In 2025, the Summer Festival once again transformed Leonhardtstraße in Berlin-Charlottenburg into a festival mile for a summer day, featuring arts and crafts, wine, international cuisine, live music, and a children's programme. The association Family & Friends e.V. remained the organiser, and admission was free.

Summer Festival 2025 — A Regular Neighbourhood Event

The 2025 edition confirmed the success of the format: a full Saturday mile on Leonhardtstraße with high-quality arts and crafts, a packed live programme, and a diverse culinary offering. As in previous years, Family & Friends e.V. curated the event in the typical Charlottenburg style – carefully selected, without mass-produced goods.

Neighbourhood Character

The Summer Festival remains a neighbourhood event with supra-regional appeal. The unusually wide pavements of Leonhardtstraße allow for stalls on both sides and enough space for a stage and seating areas – an urban planning advantage that has become rare in Berlin's densely built-up main streets.
