Sommerfest im Park Bergedorf

In the 2025 program year, the association OpenAir-Bergedorf e.V. gradually shifted its summer offering. The open-air cinema, a long-standing Bergedorf summer tradition, had become less in demand by the neighborhood; picnic concerts and small choir performances were tested in the Rathauspark and received positively.

Bergedorf offered a rich cultural season in 2025: Lichtwarktheater, KörberHaus, choir festival, district festivals, the Bergedorfer Frühjahrsmarkt, and its Pentecostal counterpart attracted audiences from across the district to the historic center. The new summer festival format fits into this program landscape as a deliberately low-threshold, participatory offering.
