Edition 2025 — Sommerfest Gahmen
The 2025 Sommerfest at Bürgerzentrum Gahmen took place on Saturday, September 6. As in previous years, it offered families from the Lünen district an afternoon program with hands-on activities and live music by the band Portal Formidable in the evening.
The 2025 edition was organized by the City of Lünen and Bürgerzentrum Gahmen, following the established neighborhood festival format. A bouncy castle, giant slide, face painting, rickshaw rides, and the live band Portal Formidable ensured a good atmosphere. Ruhrnachrichten reported extensively on the festival.
Programme
2 PM–9 PM Family program with hands-on activities, waffles and coffee in the afternoon, grilled sausages and Turkish specialties in the evening, live music with Portal Formidable.
