Overview

The 2025 season of the Sommerbühne in the Brunnenhof started on June 5th and ended on August 30th. For three months, Augsburg's independent cultural scene performed for free in the open air in the Brunnenhof of the Zeughaus — music, readings, theatre, pop culture. Curated by the Office for Pop Culture of the City of Augsburg.

2025 Season in Review

The 2025 Sommerbühne began on June 5th with the Davyd Wylde Trio (Indie, Blues-Rock, Vintage R'n'B, Funk, Grunge) and ran until August 30th. In 2025, the Sommerbühne was again an integral part of the Augsburg City Summer and the program of the Lange Kunstnacht. Admission to all events was free.

June Program

In addition to the opening concert, June featured Andrea Geis (Chanson, June 6th), the community children's concert by SiMi (June 7th), Black Cat Blues (June 12th), the Augsburger Lesebühne (June 14th), mandára (June 19th), TURFU (June 20th), the Local Natives Festival (June 21st), The Abstract Truth (Jazz from New Orleans, June 26th), and the finale of the Lange Kunstnacht with peace services and KASHJA ("All you need is love", June 28th).

July and August

In July, KaraUke (participatory ukulele event, July 3rd) and King I Noah & Who Dem A (Roots Reggae, July 4th) kicked off the month. Dozens more performances from the indie, jazz, reggae, singer-songwriter, world music, and reading genres followed until the end of August.
