The Summer and Light Festival Saalburg 2025 attracted thousands of visitors to the shores of the Bleiloch Reservoir with its boat parade, fireworks display, live music, and family program. The traditional town festival on the «Thuringian Sea» once again proved its successful concept of competition, water spectacle, and fireworks.

Saalburg 2025 — Light Festival on the Thuringian Sea

In July 2025, Saalburg-Ebersdorf hosted the Summer and Light Festival at the Bleiloch Reservoir. A boat parade with fairy lights in the late afternoon, live music on several stages, boat trips, and the traditional fireworks display around 10:30 PM marked the festival day. Thousands of visitors lined the beach promenade — the reflection of the fireworks in the lake remained the visual hallmark of the event.
