Overview
In 2025, the Slav Days at the Bärnau-Tachov History Park once again invited visitors on a journey back to the early Middle Ages for a weekend in July. In the Slav village, Living History actors brought the daily life, crafts, and cults of the early medieval Slavs to life.
During the 2025 Slav Days, the Bärnau-Tachov History Park was once again transformed into a living early medieval Slavic village. On both days of the event, actors in authentic costume showcased the daily life, craft techniques, and customs of the Slavs around the year 1000. As every year, the impressive sacrificial ceremony was one of the highlights. The event in the Tirschenreuth district confirmed its reputation as one of the most authentic Living History events in the Upper Palatinate.
