The Sinzing Johannifeuer took place in 2025 on June 27th. The Sinzing Volunteer Fire Brigade traditionally lit the pyre at nightfall; beforehand, the village community gathered at the fire station for food, drinks, and a cozy get-together.
Johannifeuer 2025 — Review
In 2025, the Sinzing Volunteer Fire Brigade once again invited attendees to its Johannifeuer on June 27th. As every year, the evening began with catering at the fire station before the pyre was lit at nightfall. The event deliberately avoids grand spectacles and focuses on what the Sonnwendfeuer in Bavaria has always been: a communal bonfire with the neighbors, marking the change of seasons.
The evening proceeded without incident, the weather cooperated, and the fire burned well into the night.
