39th Sickingenmesse 2026 in Landstuhl – Trade, Crafts, and Street Food Festival with Sunday Shopping and over 50 exhibitors.
The Sickingenmesse Landstuhl will take place in its 39th edition in 2026 on April 18th and 19th, and is one of the most important spring events in the Sickingenstadt. On the central Lothar-Sander-Platz and in the adjacent Stadthalle, more than 50 exhibitors from trade, crafts, construction, services, and lifestyle will present their products and offers.
The spectrum ranges from heating, plumbing, and gardening to kitchens, furniture, fashion, and jewelry, as well as travel agencies, insurance companies, and regional direct marketers. The Sickingenmesse is a classic consumer fair with a consulting focus, primarily involving medium-sized businesses from the Sickingenstadt and the entire Westpfalz region.
Parallel to the fair, a Street Food Festival transforms the central area around Lothar-Sander-Platz into a culinary stage. Food trucks and stands offer international specialties – from Asian bowls and South American BBQ classics to European favorites like Flammkuchen, Bratwurst, and crepes. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
On Sunday, the shops in the Landstuhl city center will open their doors from 1 PM to 6 PM. The Sunday shopping event is an important footfall day for the city center and is accompanied by a supporting program of live music, activities for children, and special sales.
Since being granted the title in 1998, Landstuhl has officially carried the epithet "Sickingenstadt" – in memory of the imperial knight Franz von Sickingen, who made Nanstein Castle his headquarters in the 16th century. The fair embraces this identity, linking the regional economy with the historical self-image of the city.
The Sickingenmesse 2026 combines a classic consumer fair, an international street food festival, and Sunday shopping into a spring highlight for the Sickingenstadt. Lothar-Sander-Platz becomes a stage for economy, crafts, and enjoyment.
The exact program for 2026 will be published on sickingenstadt-landstuhl.de and in the Wochenblatt Reporter Landstuhl.
