Overview
The Shelter Festival 2025 brought its established format of rock headliners and high-caliber tribute bands to the former Eggebek airfield. Three days of festival against the unique backdrop of the jet hangars — an event that has found its firm place in the northern German festival calendar.
Already in 2025, the Shelter Festival showed why it stands out from other rock festivals in northern Germany: the backdrop of the jet hangars, the targeted best-ager program, and the mix of tribute bands and original headliners have found their own audience.
In the state of Schleswig-Holstein, district of Schleswig-Flensburg, Eggebek has thus established itself as an unusual festival location. The DKMS partnership was continued as every year — festival visits and social commitment combine seamlessly here.
