Overview
The 31st edition of Shakespeare im Park took place from August 19 to 30, 2025, on the Melcherswiese meadow in Bremen's Bürgerpark. Over ten days, the Bremer Shakespeare Company performed, among others, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, The Winter's Tale, Macbeth (in English), Medea, Maria Stuart.
The 31st edition in 2025 offered a packed programme on the open-air stage in front of the Melchersbrücke bridge: A Midsummer Night's Dream opened and closed the festival, along with Romeo and Juliet, The Winter's Tale, Macbeth in English, Medea, Maria Stuart, Orlando, Much Ado About Nothing, Love Love Love, and a guest production of Julius Caesar. Most performances started at 7:30 PM. Chairs were available on the Melcherswiese meadow, picnics were allowed, and there were refreshments on site.
