The Seßlach Christmas Market 2025 once again transformed the medieval old town into a fairytale Christmas backdrop on the first Advent weekend. Regional exhibitors, appearances by the Seßlach Christkind, puppet theater, and fire pits characterized the weekend against the backdrop of half-timbered houses and the town wall in the Upper Franconian district of Coburg.

The 2025 edition of the Seßlach Christmas Market confirmed the festival as one of Upper Franconia's most atmospheric Christmas markets. On the first Advent weekend, exhibitors, families, and visitors from the entire Coburg region and the Coburg-Rennsteig tourism region flocked to the historic old town.

The medieval setting, the appearances of the Seßlach Christkind with St. Nicholas, the puppet theater, and the extensive children's program confirmed its family-friendly character. Fire pits, chimney cakes, and mulled wine made the Christmas market a sensory experience, embodying the authentic Christmas culture of the Upper Franconian small town.
