Overview

The Funzelnacht 2025 took place on Saturday, September 20. Hundreds of candles, light installations, and the illuminated Selbbach stream created the typical atmosphere in the city center. The fire show at 10 PM in front of the town church was the highlight, as every year, while the popular night flea market ran concurrently.

The sixth edition since its premiere in 2019 ran again in its proven format in 2025: from 5 PM, the hundreds of candles in the city center were lit, and from 7 PM, the stage program with bands, solo artists, and light art performances began. The Selbbach stream in the center played its special role as a watery axis of light, and the town church served as the backdrop for the fire show at 10 PM.

The night flea market attracted exhibitors from all over the region as usual and ensured lively activity in the side streets. The organizers were the city of Selb and the Forum Selb erleben, supported by the cultural association SelbKultur and the Outlet Center.
