The 2025 edition of the Seenachtsfest Schluchsee confirmed the event's reputation as one of the most beautiful summer festivals on the water in all of Southern Germany. The lake promenade was packed with guests from the entire region on both days — from the Hochschwarzwald to Freiburg, Lörrach, the neighboring Alsace, and the Swiss Lake Constance region. The traditional fireworks display on Saturday evening at 10:30 PM particularly attracted many onlookers to the shores and the water.

The catering by local clubs and restaurateurs ran smoothly, live music shaped the atmosphere from late afternoon into the early morning hours, and the family program on Sunday with face painting, a bouncy castle, and interactive stations ensured that the festival remained open to all generations. The illuminated boat spectacle on the lake is among the most photographed motifs of the Hochschwarzwald summer season.
