New Year's Eve 2025 followed the established pattern: family fireworks at 5 PM at the Heringsdorf event plaza, followed by dance evenings in heated marquees and hotel galas along the promenade. Precisely at midnight, professional pyrotechnicians simultaneously launched fireworks from the three piers of Heringsdorf, Ahlbeck, and Bansin.

The clear weather in 2025 allowed for a particularly wide view — the cascades of light were visible from distant beach sections and the mainland. The Kaiserbäder Tourismus Service GmbH reported positively on safety and atmosphere and announced the continuation of the format for 2026.
