Overview

The Seebier-Kerwa Großenseebach 2025 was held, as every year, on the first weekend of September by FSV Großenseebach. Five days of festival tent operation with live music, classic Franconian Kerwa traditions (Kärwabaum, Betzentanz, Friedgebot, Bärenausjagen), Franconian specialties, and a guest of honor at the beer tapping ceremony marked the festival week. Thousands of visitors from Großenseebach and the surrounding communities of the Erlangen-Höchstadt district participated.

The 2025 edition confirmed the popularity of the Seebier-Kerwa as the highlight of the village festival year in Großenseebach. In 2025, the Kerwa was also organized by FSV Großenseebach with numerous volunteers. The proceeds from the festival tent and stalls, as in previous years, went into the club's treasury and thus into local youth and sports activities.

With the appearance of Bundestag President Bärbel Bas at the beer tapping ceremony in 2024, the Seebier-Kerwa had achieved exceptional political visibility. In 2025, the festival was also well-attended and preserved the tradition of vibrant Franconian Kerwa culture.
