Schwetzinger SWR Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Schwetzinger SWR Festival took place in April and May 2025 over four weeks. The festival, organized by Südwestrundfunk in the historic rooms of Schwetzingen Castle, offered, as every year, a mix of opera premieres, classic revivals, chamber concerts, vocal concerts, and song recitals.

The Resident Artists of the year curated their own concert series, and prominent guest artists from around the world performed in the Rococo Theatre and Mozart Hall. With its blend of tradition and avant-garde, early Baroque and contemporary avant-garde, the Schwetzingen Festival is one of Germany's most distinguished classical destinations.
