In 2025, the Schwerin Christmas Market »Der Stern im Norden« ran from November 24th to December 30th through the old town. An ice rink, crafts, and a fairy tale tent created a pre-Christmas atmosphere in the center of the state capital of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Already in 2025, the Schwerin Christmas Market extended from November 24th to December 30th across several squares of the old town. Marktplatz, Schlachtermarkt, and the Pfaffenteich bank together formed an extensive festive area.
An ice rink, carousel, petting zoo, and craft demonstrations delighted families, while the fairy tale tent at the Schlachtermarkt entertained the youngest guests. The ice rink remained open until mid-January 2026.
