Overview
The Schwelmer Weihnachtsmarkt 2025 on the 3rd Advent weekend was, according to Stadtmarketing Schwelm, a complete success. Approximately 25 huts in the pedestrian zone and on Kirchstraße brought festive Advent atmosphere to the city center of the small town in the Ennepe-Ruhr district. The stage program with choirs, dance groups, and brass band was well-attended. The Sunday shopping further increased visitor numbers.
In 2025, the format confirmed its establishment as Schwelm's most important winter event. Stadtmarketing Schwelm and its supporting partners (City of Schwelm, Sparkasse, AVU) continued the concept in its proven form in 2026.
