Overview

The 11th edition of the Schweinfurt Wine Festival took place in August 2025 on the market square. Three Franconian wineries from Garstadt, Sand am Main, and Hammelburg served their wines, and live bands played on the market square stage every evening. The festival was traditionally opened by the Schweinfurt Wine Queen.

11th Schweinfurt Wine Festival

As in previous years, Schweinfurt's market square transformed into an open-air wine lounge for five days in August 2025. Organized by Schweinfurt erleben e.V. in cooperation with the Franconian Winegrowers' Association, the festival brought the three regular wineries Gessner, Goger, and Ruppert to the market square.

Live bands playing soul, pop, and rock provided the musical accompaniment. The official opening was performed by the reigning Schweinfurt Wine Queen, and the mayor welcomed the guests. The weather cooperated, and the festival enjoyed strong public attendance from Schweinfurt and the surrounding area.
