Edition 2025 — Schwebefest
The 2025 Schwebefest took place on the last Sunday of July and the following Monday on the Schwebe-Wiese by the Buchenwäldchen in Dürrenwaldstetten. A festive church service, an afternoon of folk music, and a cozy festival wind-down on Monday evening once again formed the tried-and-tested program of this deeply rooted local tradition since 1972. The Schwebeverein Dürrenwaldstetten e.V. catered to festival-goers with Swabian specialties.
Schwebefest 2025 — Tradition in the Woods
In the summer of 2025, the Schwebeverein Dürrenwaldstetten e.V. once again celebrated the traditional Schwebefest on the Schwebe-Wiese by the Buchenwäldchen. With the festive service on Sunday morning and the folk music afternoon, the first day of the festival was atmospherically designed — the Monday evening with catering and festival wind-down rounded off the weekend.
Since 1972, the Schwebefest has preserved one of the most beautiful local traditions of the Alb-Danube region — and in 2026, the edition will be special due to the 700th anniversary of Dürrenwaldstetten.
