In 2025, the amateur ensemble of the Schwarzenburg Festival once again performed a fairytale for young and old under the open sky on the Schwarzwihrberg. After the end of the 2025 season, the ensemble already expressed great anticipation for the upcoming 2026 season.
The 2025 season continued the tradition of fairytale time: a well-known fairytale, staged by an amateur ensemble aged 4 to 82, performed on the open-air stage of the Schwarzenburg on the Schwarzwihrberg above Rötz. As every year, the festival combined theatre, nature experience, and castle romance, attracting families from all over the Oberpfalz. In 2025, the interactive fairytale forest also accompanied the ascent to the castle. After the end of the season, the ensemble announced the staging of »Das kleine Gespenst« for 2026.
