Edition 2025 — 900 Years Schwabbruck
In 2025, the municipality of Schwabbruck prepared for its 900-year festival weekend in 2026. Even without an official anniversary festival weekend, the traditional club festivals of local associations like the Music Band, Fire Department, and Sports Clubs were celebrated in the summer of 2025 – a prelude to the grand anniversary that will involve the entire region in the summer of 2026.
Preparation Year 2025
2025 was a year of preparation for the municipality of Schwabbruck in the Auerbergland for its 900th anniversary in 2026. Clubs and the municipal administration jointly planned and coordinated the extensive festival weekend, which will take place from July 31st to August 2nd, 2026, featuring a village festival, market, and program at the Pröbstlmühle mill.
In parallel, the traditional summer events of the local clubs also took place in 2025 – the Schwabbruck Music Band, the Fire Department, and Sports Clubs hosted their club festivals, thus keeping the active club life of the community alive.
