Overview
The 2025 Schützenfest of the Wusterhausen 1839 e.V. Marksmen's Guild once again invited town residents and guests from the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district to the shooting range in September. The king's shooting, parade, and festival service formed the traditional core.
As in previous years, the festival in 2025 followed its usual format: three days of program, king's shooting with coronation, parade on Saturday, and festival service on Sunday. The Marksmen's Guild of 1839 is one of the oldest and most active club structures in Wusterhausen — the Schützenfest is accordingly an important town event.
In the sparsely populated Ostprignitz-Ruppin region, such marksmen's festivals are important social platforms — they connect families from the surrounding villages and keep the tradition alive.
