Two-day format

With two days of festivities, the Wiedenbrügge festival is more compact than many club festivals in the region. This format allows for a concentrated program structure without excessive logistical effort. On Saturday, the bird shooting and the festival evening are the focus, while on Sunday, the festival service, the parade, and the King's dinner mark the conclusion of the festivities.

The marksmen's clubs in the municipality of Wölpinghausen maintain a close network among themselves. The Wiedenbrügge Schützenfest is part of this series – complemented by the marksmen's festivals in Wölpinghausen itself and the harvest festivals of the village community. Friendly clubs from the entire Sachsenhagen collective municipality are invited to the parade and contribute to the festive atmosphere with their participation.
