Schützenfest in Strücklingen
Strücklingen is one of the districts of the municipality of Saterland in the far northwest of the Cloppenburg district. The Schützenfest Strücklingen is organized by the local marksmen's club and is a fixed date in the village's summer calendar. Like all Schützenfeste in Saterland, it combines tradition, church customs, and village social life into a multi-day folk festival (Volksfest).
Special Format with Three Festival Days
Unlike most Schützenfeste, which take place on consecutive days, the Strücklingen festival in 2026 is spread over three non-consecutive days: opening on Friday, July 17th, with the main festivities on Sunday, July 19th, and Monday, July 20th. This structure allows for coordination with other events and gives members a relaxing break.
