Overview
The 2025 edition of the Schützenfest St. Josef Gelmer took place as usual in June at the Heidestadion. Three days of events included the Corpus Christi procession, festive mass, children's Schützenfest, bird shooting, proclamation, and King's Ball — a proven Schützenfest choreography by the brotherhood founded in 1865.
The previous edition followed the classic program structure: a sacred opening with Corpus Christi, followed by the children's Schützenfest and bird shooting, Frühschoppen, and finally the festive mass, proclamation, and King's Ball. Shooting traditions and district identity combined in the Heidestadion setting.
