Edition 2025 — Schützenfest St. Johannes Altenberge
In 2025, the St. Johannes Marksmen's Brotherhood Altenberge also celebrated its Schützenfest on the first July weekend. Assembly of the companies, Grand Tattoo, bird shooting, parade, royal balls, and Schützenfest mass continued the centuries-old tradition of the brotherhood founded in 1677. The festival grounds at Gooiker Platz brought together the marksmen's family and the Altenberge village community.
The 2025 Schützenfest of the St. Johannes Brotherhood Altenberge proceeded as usual: Assembly, Grand Tattoo, bird shooting, and parade marked the first July weekend. The festival tent at Gooiker Platz, the festive mass at St. Johannes Baptist, and the royal balls upheld the Münsterland marksmen's tradition and paved the way for the 2026 edition.
