Overview
The 2025 Schützenfest of the Schwesing Marksmen's Guild of 1860 took place, as in previous years, on the community's sports grounds. The royal shoot, the crowning of the monarch, and festivities marked the day — one of the most traditional village events in the Nordfriesland district remained a reliable date in the Schwesing calendar in 2025.
Review: Schwesing Schützenfest 2025
In 2025, the Schwesing Marksmen's Guild once again invited attendees to the annual Schützenfest on the sports grounds. Members competed in the royal shoot, the new monarch was crowned, and the evening concluded with traditional festivities including music, dancing, and catering by the Guild.
The Schützenfest is one of the central folk tradition events of the Schwesing community and also an important social occasion for the village community east of Husum. Admission was, as usual, free.
