Rechterfeld Marksmen's Association e.V.

The Rechterfeld Marksmen's Association e.V. is the central traditional association of the Visbek district of the same name. As the second-largest district in the municipality of Visbek — with around 1,180 inhabitants — Rechterfeld forms its own village unit with a distinct club structure. The Marksmen's Association upholds the traditional customs of parades, king's shooting, and king's proclamation.

Heinrich Berens Inn as the Festival Venue

The Heinrich Berens Inn in Rechterfeld is the traditional club inn of the association. The establishment, with its indoor and outdoor areas, serves as a meeting point, a venue for the festive ceremony, and the ballroom for the king's ball. The assembly of marksmen, the festive reception, and social gatherings take place here — a proven mix of club venue and festival center, typical of the North German club landscape.

Assembly Sunday, May 10th, 2 PM

The official highlight of the festive weekend is the assembly on Sunday, May 10th, 2026, at 2 PM at the Heinrich Berens Inn. From here, the parade will commence, followed by the king's shooting and king's proclamation. The exact program structure for the preceding Saturday, May 9th, will be announced by the association.

Networking with Lutten and Friendly Associations

The Rechterfeld Marksmen's Association maintains close relationships with surrounding clubs, especially with the Lutten Marksmen's Club, whose delegations participate in the parade. This networking is a hallmark of the marksmen's tradition in the Oldenburg Münsterland region and makes every club festival a regional gathering of customs.
