Overview

2025 was a biennial interim year without a major festival in Lerche-Rottum-Derne. The Schützenverein 1844 maintained its association life with smaller club events, shooting masses, and preparations for the 2026 festival year. The reigning royal couple Markus Schäfer & Sarah Wulf represented the association on various occasions throughout the year.

Interim year 2025

Due to the biennial festival rhythm, 2025 was not a Schützenfest year for the Schützenverein Lerche-Rottum-Derne 1844 e.V. The reigning royal couple Markus Schäfer and Sarah Wulf — crowned in the last Schützenfest year — represented the association on various occasions.

Association life continued with the usual activities: regular shooting practice, meetings with neighboring associations, association meetings, and preparations for the 2026 festival year. The next major festival will take place from June 13 to 15, 2026, at Haus Keitmann.
