Overview

The 2025 Schützenfest of the Vereinigte Schützenbruderschaft Laer followed the traditional program with Ladies' Night, Frühshoppen, King's Shoot, and parade. The venue was, as usual, the Laer sports hall grounds; the marquee served as the central event space.

In 2025, the marksmen continued the tradition: a Schützenfest with a pre-program (Ladies' Night, Frühshoppen) and a main program from Friday to Sunday. The dress code for the festive program points was respected as always; the King's Shoot produced a new marksmen's king.

With the pre-program (women's flea market, convivial Frühshoppen), the Laer association succeeds in a noticeable opening of the classic Schützenfest — the Ladies' Night, in particular, attracts female visitors who otherwise have less contact with classic Schützenfest culture.
