Overview
The Klein Reken Anniversary Schützenfest 2024 was a particularly festive edition with Kaiser shooting, parades, live bands like "6th Avenue" and "Feten Company", a senior citizens' breakfast with a youth orchestra, and several balls. The anniversary edition brought together the shooting fraternity, former queens and kings since 1949, and the entire community.
Klein Reken Anniversary Schützenfest 2024
The 2024 Anniversary Edition from August 16th to 19th was particularly elaborate:
- Friday (Aug 16th): 3 PM Gathering of the marksmen in uniform with rifles, 4:30 PM newly introduced Kaiser shooting on the festival grounds, 9 PM Kaiser ball with DJ Plattenprinz (free admission).
- Saturday (Aug 17th): 9:30 AM Senior citizens' breakfast with the youth orchestra of the Reken brass band (free admission). From 3:30 PM Parade, church service, and review. 8 PM Festival ball with live band "Feten Company".
- Sunday (Aug 18th): 10 AM Gathering of the marksmen, parade with all queens and kings since 1949, 8 PM Throne ball with the live band "6th Avenue".
- Monday (Aug 19th): 9:30 AM Bird shooting, 6:30 PM Coronation ball with "6th Avenue".
The anniversary edition brought together the Klein Reken shooting community for several days — a highlight in the club's life and in the Münsterland tradition calendar. The royal couple 2024/25 competed in this tradition and handed over the crown at the following edition.
