The 2025 Schützenfest took place in the usual four-day format with brass band music, DJ party, fireworks, parade, and King's proclamation. The Schützenverein Hückeswagen 1636 e.V. hosted the event with support from the city.

Schützenfest 2025 in Hückeswagen

The 2025 edition followed the proven four-day format of the Hückeswagen Schützenfest — opening evening with brass band music and DJ party, Saturday with the fireworks highlight, Sunday with the parade and commemorative ceremony, and Monday with the King's proclamation and family day.

The funfair, spread across several squares including Etapler Platz, Bahnhofsplatz, and Aldi-Parkplatz, was well-attended. The Schützenverein 1636 e.V. confirmed at the end of the festival the continuation of the tradition in 2026 with the same format and schedule.
