Overview
The 66th marksmen's festival in 2025 once again shaped the community life in Sprockhövel-Herzkamp. Three days of festival tent, live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, a parade on Sunday, and the coronation of the new royal couple brought the village community together. As always, the Herzkamp Marksmen's Association (Schützenverein Herzkamp e.V.) was the organizer.
The 66th edition in 2025 followed the tried-and-tested pattern: Friday evening opening with a live band, Saturday party night in the festival tent, and on Sunday the traditional parade through the town. The marksmen gathered before the marksmen's mass, and the new royal couple was solemnly crowned.
Thousands of visitors from Sprockhövel, the Ennepe-Ruhr district, and Wuppertal participated over the weekend — a typical Bergisch marksmen's festival with a long-standing tradition.
