In 2025, the Heggen Marksmen's Association also hosted its traditional three-day Schützenfest in the Sauerland district — a tradition rooted for generations in the Olpe district.
Schützenfest 2025 in Heggen
The 2025 edition continued the Sauerland Schützenfest tradition. King's shoot, parade, coronation ball — the classic program points of a three-day Schützenfest in the Sauerland shaped the district's life in 2025 as well. The 2025 event served as preparation for the Schützenfest on July 11th–13th, 2026.
